ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We only allow replacements on the corresponding period given to the product afterwards it will only fall under service warranty or manufacturer’s warranty (depending on the item purchased) . Within the replacement duration after your purchase, we do not tolerate replacements for change of color or product model. We will not provide any replacements especially for mishandling incidents even it is within the grace period. Please observe that we only allow replacement ONLY FOR FACTORY DEFECT CASES.

JMB Albay Gadgets offers 1 YEAR LIMITED SERVICE WARRANTY. We will shoulder the repair if it is a factory defect related problem(PARTS not included), otherwise, malfunctions resulting from misuse, software modification, custom ROM, (Android), jailbreak, tampered units, failure to follow instructions in the manual, exposure to dust, dirt sand,water,dropping or shock will not be covered on our service warranty.

Warranty covers only the product itself and does not cover any acessories (lens cap, charger,battery,etc) or consumables.

Please keep your warranty slip. We DO NOT reissue it. Loss of warranty slip shall forfeit the warranty claim.

We can reserve the unit for our clients only for two days

ADVISORY:

There is no warranty for water-damage incidents including water resistant cameras and other related items.

The conditions stated herein are applicable to all items purchased from JMB Albay Gadgets unless otherwise stated.

We are selling products with two kinds of warranty.
Manufacture and Service Warranty

Manufacture Warranty:
This means the Manufacturer warrants the covered product to be free from defects or material and workmanship for One Year from date of purchase (warranty period vary depending on the product type). This warranty extends to the original buyer (only or and each successive buyer within the warranty period). JMB ALBAY GADGETS will not be directly and indirectly liable for any violations by the manufacturer of the warranty, including any delays caused by non-availability of parts, while Product is under observation of when Product has been returned for repair work. JMB ALBAY GADGETS liability shall be limited only to assisting and chanelling the customer’s complaints and products to manufacturer.
Within the period of this warranty, the Manufacturer will repair or replace, free of charge; any part proving defective in material or workmanship. All warranty repairs and service must be performed by an authorized service center/facility.
All expenses related to replacing or repairing a defective part under this warranty shall be assumed by the Manufacturer except for the shipping expenses, which shall be assumed by the buyer for website orders.

Service Warranty(This covers unit only, accessories should be check upon purchase.) Labor/Service cost for the repair of product shall be assumed by the seller, cost of parts needed to be replaced shall be shouldered by the customer.

Warranty exclusions
This warranty does not apply to any costs, repairs, or services for the following.
1. Service calls to correct the installation of the covered product, or to explain the usage of the product to the buyer.
2. Repairs necessitated by use other than normal home use.
3. Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, alterations, or improper installation.
4. Corrective work necessitated by repairs made by anyone other than the Manufacturers authorized service technician.

JMB Albay Gadgets personally offers the unit replacement for items which are factory defective upon purchase for PRODUCTS only with 1 YEAR SERVICE WARRANTY (JMB Albay Gadgets WARRANTY) is subject to the discretion and further judgment on the part of the seller and our technical support team.
Here are the applicable replacements for each product:

CAMERAS:
• 1-2days unit replacement (dead pixels are excluded, dead pixels are to be checked from the time of the delivery of the product)
• 1 year service warranty (cleaning is not included because it is not considered as a factory defect)

WATERPROOF CAMERAS:
• 1-2days unit replacement incase of factory defect (water damage is excluded).

There is no warranty for water-damage incidents including water resistant cameras and other related items.
• 1 year service warranty (There is no warranty for water damage )

FLASHES & LENSES:
• 3 days unit replacement (mishandling will not be tolerated)
• 1 year service warranty (cleaning is not included because it is not considered as a factory defect)

IPODS/IPADS/MACBOOK:
Warranty can be claimed directly to any POWERMAC CENTER
CELLPHONES WITH 1 YEAR SERVICE WARRANTY:
• 1-2 days replacement (Except Apple iPhone, iPod, iPads)
• Change of model and color is not allowed.

HOW TO CLAIM WARRANTY:
• Please follow the instructions below.
• Go to Contact us, give your customer information. Give us the details of the problem.
• Pack only the item/s in question and a photocopy of warranty slip into a box, enclose a letter containing all necessary concerns towards the
product.
• For provincial customers, please provide the waybill number for the returning item.
• For Daraga Albay Customers, just visit our main office.
• Once we receive the item we will then send it to our technical support team for the repair.

If there are any questions,concerning warranty, please feel free to contact us before purchasing.
• For warranty support, allow seven days for check-up and diagnosis.
• After the diagnosis has been completed, if you would like to continue with the repair, it takes about 2-3weeks for the repair to be done.

PLEASE NOTE:
Some units which needs replacement for parts shall take longer since the parts/material required has to be ordered. For this instance, we only shoulder the labor installation for the material required.
50% deposit guarantee is needed for this procedure.
JMB Albay Gadgets will not be held liable for incidences that shall arise from the availing of services from a third party.

For customers who’s entitled for unit replacement, he/she will be informed thru text/email or call if units have been replaced or replacement is available. Customers must claim their unit replacement within 7 days.

Q. From what country are products of JMB made?

Our products may come from Vietnam, China, Hong Kong & India. Our Apple products are designed by Apple in California and assembled by Apple in China.

Q. What types of warranty do we offer for our products?

We are offering two types of warranty. Full Warranty/Manufacture Warranty and Limited/Service Warranty.

Q. Do you issue warranty slips?

Yes. It is being issued after purchased. This slip is presented to claim warranty for defective unit received. For gadgets accessories such as headphones, earphones, powerbank, charging cables etc., full products’ packaging is required together with the warranty slip to avail warranty.

Q. How many days do you allow for replacement warranty?

Number of days may vary depending on the product type.

CAMERAS:
1-2 days unit replacement (dead pixels are excluded, they are to be checked from the time of the delivery of the product)
1 year service warranty (cleaning is not included because it is not considered as a factory defect)

WATERPROOF CAMERAS:
1-2 days unit replacement in-case of factory defect (water damage is excluded), under water testing will be conducted during the transaction. Kindly bring a jug/container for testing.
1 year service warranty (There is no warranty for water damage )

FLASHES & LENSES:
3 days unit replacement (mishandling will not be tolerated)
1 year service warranty (cleaning is not included because it is not considered as a factory defect)

IPODS/IPADS/MACBOOK:
(Warranty can be claimed directly to any POWER MAC CENTERS)

CELLPHONES WITH 1 YEAR SERVICE WARRANTY:
1-2 days replacement.

Q. Is damage related to water or cracks included in warranty?

No. JMB Albay Gadgets offers 2 types of warranty. We will shoulder the repair if it is a factory defect related problem(PARTS not included), otherwise, malfunctions resulting from misuse, software modification, custom ROM, (Android) jailbreak, tampered units, failure to follow instructions in the manual, exposure to dust, dirt sand, water, dropping or shock is not covered on our service warranty.
Warranty covers only the product itself and does not cover any accessories (lens cap, charger, battery, etc.) or consumables.

Q. What are the payment methods in JMB?

Cash deposits through Bank of Philippine Islands (BPI), Banko De Oro (BDO) for shipping orders, PayPal
Installment Basis- for BPI Credit Card Users only

Q. Do you accept Layaway?

Yes. The clients are given an option to choose their layaway plans either for 3 months, 6 or 9 months. The product will only be released upon completion of total cost of the product. The price of the product will be agreed upon during the purchase and is not subject to change.

ABOUT OUR LAY AWAY PLAN

JMB Gadgets is happy to accommodate gadgets and accessories orders through our layaway plan. For your convenience, we offer 6 or 12 months layaway plans. You can choose the plans that are more convenient for you.

Our Layaway (offered in stores only) program offers customers the opportunity to make small payments over an extended period on eligible items. We offer Layaway for the following products: Mobile Phones, Tablets, Laptops, including gadget’s accessories.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

(Please read carefully. Your acceptance of these terms is considered a binding and legal agreement.)

1. Client must be 18 to 60 years old.
2. Extend Plan Anytime: Client has the choice to pick the plan for 6 months up.
3. We are offering layaway plans for 6 months but if customers wished to extend the plan they have to pay additional Php300.00 for processing fee.
4. EASY PAYMENT SCHEME: Client may pay the full balance on his/her layaway order at any time. Client can pay earlier and get the unit before the said date. But you have to inform us at least five (5) to ten (10) days ahead to ensure product’s availability.
5. VERY LOW INITIAL DEPOSIT: Initial payment (deposit) will be 10% of the total price of the order. The next payments should be not less than Php500.00.
6. Payments must be made regularly as scheduled, and must be received by us (shop).
7. Once the unit is ordered from the supplier, you cannot make changes to this layaway order. If you no longer desire the specified item you must cancel your order.
8. POSIBILITY FOR PRICE DECREASE: The final price will depend upon the price of the item on the day when Client is going to make the last payment.
9. CLAIM REFUND: Client with layaway agreement for 6 months or more, in case of phase out product from the market at the time of full payment, client can either choose any other product with same cost or refund the paid amount with less 3% of it as collection fee.
10. PROOF OF PAYMENT: You may request a written record of your payments at any time. You will receive a receipt for each payment made towards the balance due.
11. Customers should present complete receipts to claim the ordered item/unit.
12. No slip no payment.
13. Due to the nature of our items, we will not process your order until last payment has been made.

Cancellation Policy

14. You may cancel your layaway order at any time by notifying the store where you made your order. You must cancel the order in person or in writing.
15. A full refund less the cancellation fee will be refunded to you in person at the store where you placed your original order.
16. The cancellation fee on all layaway contract is 3% of the total amount paid by the customer on the same date of cancellation (e.g. total payment is 5,000 – 3% {150.00} total refundable amount is 4,850.00)

Q. Why are some gadgets only available through order?

Products with the high demand are available on hand and does not need down-payment. Products/Product brands that are usually available by order includes Nokia, Blackberry, HTC, DSLRS , flashes, lenses & laptops. A down payment of at least 10% of the total price of the product is needed for products that require ordering .The clients will receive their products one day after the down payment has been paid.

Q. Why do your products have such low prices?

The prices of our products are lower than the market price because of online marketing and direct selling. Prices also depends on the product warranty.

Q. What is the difference between your products and those products available in other shops?

Unlike other online stores, our products come with their original package from manufacturer. We are offering lower prices for products than other stores and sometimes lower than the SRP (Suggested Retail Price) for competitive advantage.

Q. Why sometimes shipping orders have lower prices than meet ups?

This is an incentive for our customers. Meet-ups takes more time and effort than shipping. We can prepare 50-100 items for shipping in 3 hours but we can only do 3 -5 customer meet-ups with the same amount of time.

Q. Do we offer Discounts?

A. Yes. All products are already discounted. In the Pricelist menu, customer may compare the SRP of each product to our online prices. We offer products at its lowest cost. All products are guaranteed authentic and not refurbished.

After Sales Service

We do not promise that our customers will never have a concern or experience a problem. We do promise, however, that if a concern should arise, we will respond appropriately.

Q. What should the customer do if he/she had purchase products with hidden defect?

A. The customer may return the product to the store where he/she made the purchase for product’s diagnosis.

Q. Is there a time limit within which a buyer may return defective products?

A. Yes. The time limit vary depending on the warranty period given.

Q. Can a buyer return defective goods without the Official Receipt?

A. Yes. The buyer may present the warranty slip.

Q. If the defect is due to mishandling on the part of the buyer, can he still return the item and demand an exchange or refund?

A. No, the warranty covers only hidden defects or shoddy goods.

Q. If an item bought from our Store turns out to be more expensive than a similar item in other store, can the customer return the item and ask for a refund?

A. No, while the consumers have the right to choose and make a canvass of prices, once the sale is consummated and the product has no defect, one cannot return the goods nor ask for a refund.

Q. What is the Store Return and Refund Policy?

A. Our Store Return and Refund Policy is in accordance with the Implementing Rules and Regulations of R.A. 7394, or the Consumer Act of the Philippines.
For items with Service Warranty, customer may go directly to the Service Center or may return the item to our store for repair or forwarding to the Service Center. Sometimes it takes long before the unit be repaired because it is beyond the store’s control, however we are trying our best to make your unit repaired as soon as possible.

Q. If after buying a certain item, a customer changes his mind and wants to return said item, can he invoke the prohibition on “No Return, No
Exchange”?

A. No, the prohibition is not an excuse for the consumers to return the goods because of a change of mind.

Q. How long would it take for returned defective products be repaired or replaced?

The repair period depends on the type of repair to be done. If there are parts to be replaced such as motherboard or LCD, the repair period may take long for non availability of the parts.
